I cleared TOGAF 9 reading it

I like this book , I read it along with the online TOGAF book. It has practice exam which is very helpful to prepare for the togaf exam. I took both exam same time and I think I should have bought the fist part as well, its on the expensive side but a good book not only for the exam but a good togaf reference as well.

A good companion book to prepare for TOGAF Certified exam

While I find the Foundation book from Rachel Harrison to be greatest help in preparing for Part I exam, this is a good book to prepare for Part II exam. I would not give it 5 stars because:
1. Part II is an open book exam and the exam takers are given the TOGAF book not this one. So on the exam day you cannot refer to this book and to be successful have to know organization of 700 page TOGAF book, and
2. The end of chapter questions do not really map to the exam questions, which have long paragraphs.
Having said that the book still does great job of simplifying the subject AND has great sample full length test, which do give you the feel of actual exam. So I would value the book on those two counts. But truly speaking, for Part II, I prepared more from the TOGAF book rather than this one and scored 95%.

Good coverage

This book, TOGAF 9 Certified Study Guide gives good coverage of the subject. I see it not only as a book for just certification but the concepts that can be easily adopted at work. When practicing it you know most of the things but this book helps in identifying such processes with the right definition in the industry to help with cross communications. A must read for practitioners.
